IDEILAGRAM Association was founded on the occasion of the Shrinking Cities in Romania. Orașe românești în declin exhibition, held at the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Bucharest, in 2016. The purpose of the Association was to complement, by research projects and cultural actions, the activities of the architecture office Ideogram Studio, created in 2012 by Ilinca and Tudor Constantinescu.
Coming from the common ground of architecture, but with interests in various fields, such as visual arts or urbanism, overlapping with academic research, we are equally interested in a large-scale perspective, as well as a detailed one, closer to the everyday people. We value, in each project, collaborations that bring together specialists from other disciplines, that enrich us and help us in our endeavor to constantly relate to society and have an overview of architecture, that goes even beyond the "built environment”.
